🤖 AI Education Program at St. John Community High School
The AI Education and Awareness Program at St. John Community High School was a truly memorable and eye-opening experience. Though smaller in size compared to other schools, the session attracted over 150 passionate and attentive students who were eager to learn about the incredible world of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
From the very beginning, the atmosphere was filled with curiosity and excitement as students discovered how AI is revolutionizing our world — from education, business, and transportation to agriculture, healthcare, and entertainment. The facilitators from the Child Shelter & Awards Foundation (CSAF) and WITIWorld Solutions guided them through engaging discussions and demonstrations on Machine Learning, ChatGPT, Prompt Engineering, and other real-world AI applications.
What stood out most was the level of participation — students asked intelligent questions, shared imaginative ideas, and discussed how AI could help solve challenges in their communities. Their enthusiasm showed that true learning isn’t about numbers but passion and curiosity.
At the end of the session, the excitement continued as nearly all the students registered to join the AI Club, showing deep commitment to continue exploring technology and innovation. They are now part of a growing network of young innovators across Ifo LGA who are learning to use AI as a tool for progress and change.
St. John Community High School may have been one of the smaller groups, but the impact was big — proving that when you inspire the mind, you empower the future.
