✨ Essay and Speech Writing Competition & Awards (2023/2024)
The Essay and Speech Writing Competition & Awards 2023/2024, organized by the Child Shelter and Awards Foundation, brought together students from over 50 public schools under Education District 1, Lagos State, Nigeria — celebrating creativity, confidence, and the power of expression.
The competition aimed to inspire young minds to think critically, write passionately, and speak confidently about issues shaping their future and community.
The highlight of the program was the Award Ceremony at Vetland Junior and Senior Schools, Agege, where more than 100 outstanding students were celebrated for their brilliance and effort. Each awardee received certificates of excellence and stationery gifts to further support their education.
The event featured inspiring video interviews with the winners, whose heartfelt messages reflected gratitude, hope, and a renewed determination to do better in their academic journey.
Through this program, the Foundation continues its mission to empower students, promote literacy and communication skills, and build confidence in the next generation of leaders.
